Play Services Coordinator- (Post 1)
Salary: Starting Rate £10.00 per hour
Hours of work: Up to 16 hours per week Term Time only
Please note that the hours of work are Tuesday and Thursday between 12.00-6.00pm. Remaining hours will be undertaken during normal office hours (Mon to Fri between 9.00am-5.00pm).
Play Services Coordinator- (Post 2)
Salary: Starting Rate £10.00 per hour
Hours of work: Up to 8 hours per week on Saturdays
Please note that the hours of work are Saturdays between 10.00-4.00pm. Remaining hours will be undertaken during normal office hours (Mon to Fri between 9.00am-5.00pm).
We are looking for two qualified and experienced Play Services Coordinators to manage SAFSS’ Out-of-School Club services for children and young people with disabilities, (Including youth groups and potential holiday play schemes).
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and aspiring leaders to manage an established team of Specialist Playworkers who provide sessions term time evenings or on Saturdays. The Coordinators will undertake regular monitoring of sessions, finances and regular staff supervisions and team meetings etc; to ensure the service standards are met. The Coordinators will also be responsible for providing positive outcomes and play opportunities in line with the EYFS and Play principles. Evidencing and planning of sessions will be vital to the role.
Applicants must have a minimum of NNEB qualification or NVQ3 in Child Care and equivalent. Applicants must have a good standard of spoken and written English and numeracy. Experience of working with children with disabilities is an advantage as we support children and young people with varying disabilities and conditions. Being able to speak a South Asian language would also be an advantage to the role as we support South Asian Families.
