Sandwell Asian Family Support Service (SAFSS) has vacancies in our After School Club for South Asian children with disabilities aged 3-18 years of age.
- Ofsted registered ‘outstanding’ rating at last inspection for enjoying and achieving
- Stimulating environment promoting free play
- Messy play and creative projects
- Trips and outings
- All staff speak one of the 6 South Asian languages spoken in Sandwell
- Key worker system to meet the needs of each child
- All staff qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in Playwork
- All sessions incorporate and work to the Quality in Play standards and early years foundation stage framework
- All sessions are based on the ECM outcomes
- Transport provided.
Sessions are held:Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 3.00p.m. -6.00p.m. Saturday 11.00a.m.-4.00p.m.
Venue: Sandwell Asian Family Support Service, Fenton St, Smethwick, West Midlands B66 1HR
Fees: Weekday session £2.50 per session, Saturday £3.50 per session

SAFSS Smiling Stars After School Club was awarded ‘Out of School Club 2007′ by Early Years and Childcare Unit Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council for outstanding practice and examples of creativity for its work with South Asian children and young people with disabilities.
